1. Applicable Date

This price list is effective from 1st February 2008

2. Deliveries and Delivery Charges – Mainland UK
The minimum order level is £50. Orders less than £75 will be subject to a
carriage charge of £9.50 plus VAT without notice.

3. Deliveries and Delivery Charges – Outside Mainland UK
Orders for delivery outside of mainland UK will be subject to additional delivery charges. These will be quoted on a delivery-by-delivery basis and must be agreed before any goods can be despatched.

4. Prices and Foreign Exchange
As a significant proportion of the goods we supply are imported, their prices are subject to factors beyond our control in the foreign exchange market. International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett Limited) reserves the right to change the prices published without notice.

5. Credit Accounts
If you do not have a credit account with International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett Limited), payment must be made before goods are despatched, or if agreed, on receipt of goods.

If you have an agreed credit account with International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett Limited), settlement of all invoices must be made within 28 days of delivery of goods, unless alternative terms have been agreed.

If you exceed, or the order to be delivered to you will cause you to exceed, your agreed credit limit, or if you have invoices outstanding in excess of 28 days, from the date of delivery, International Food may decline to supply you until the excess amount over your credit limit has been cleared or overdue invoices have been paid.

6. Retention of Title
International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett Limited) retains the following rights until payment has been received in full for the goods:
i) The right to recover the goods
ii) The right to enter the buyer’s premises to recover the goods
The buyer has a duty to store the goods separately from other goods until
they pay for the goods in full.

7. Payment
Payment may be made by cheque or by making a BACS payment to our account.
International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett Limited) bankers are:

National Westminster Bank PLC (or Natwest)

8. Packaging
Packaging may be subject to change without notice.

9. Credits and Complaints
Requests for credits for goods that are damaged or missing from your delivery will only be considered if:
• The delivery has been checked on arrival and any problems noted on the delivery note or
• The delivery has been clearly signed for as “unchecked” and
• The request was reported to International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett) head office within 3 days of the date of delivery
No requests for credit for any other reason will be considered if not reported in writing to International Food (a division of Newton-Corbett Limited) head office within one month of date of delivery.

Request for credit should be made in writing, by fax, e-mail or letter.
Complaints can be made by telephone but must be confirmed in writing. In this case please ask for the name of the person taking the complaint.
We will accept payment of invoices awaiting credit notes.

Please note that the reason why we impose the above conditions is that we can only claim for damages from our transporters if the above terms and conditions have been met. This obviously has a direct impact on our costs to you so your cooperation is extremely important. If you do make a credit request and have not signed “damaged” or “unchecked” then credits will be refused and a letter sent reminding you of our terms and conditions.
